Memori is a lightweight and efficient iOS application designed to help users record important dates, manage countdowns and up-counts for key events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and festivals, and set personalized reminders. This User Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for your use of Memori, clarifies the rights and obligations between you and the developer of Memori, and ensures a safe, smooth, and pleasant user experience for all users. By downloading, installing, and using Memori, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not download, install, or use the app.
Memori is designed to be an account-free application, which means you can use all its core features without registering an account, logging in with any credentials, or providing personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. All operations, data input, and settings are completed locally on your iOS device, ensuring that you have full control over your usage process and data at all times.
By accessing, downloading, installing, or using Memori, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules related to the use of mobile applications and iOS devices. If you are a minor (under the age of 18), you must obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian before using Memori, and your parent or legal guardian must read and agree to this Agreement on your behalf. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement from time to time to adapt to changes in product functions and user needs; any updates to the Agreement will be displayed within the app, and your continued use of Memori after the update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
When using Memori, you agree to abide by the following usage rules to ensure the normal operation of the app and the rights and interests of other users:
We attach great importance to your privacy and data security, and we are committed to protecting the data you input and use in Memori. The following provisions clarify our data handling principles:
4.1 Memori is a fully local application. All data you input, including important dates, reminders, and personalized settings, is stored exclusively on your iOS device and is never collected, stored, transmitted, or shared by us to external servers, cloud storage, or third parties. You have full control over this data, and you can add, edit, or delete it at any time.
4.2 We do not collect any facial information, we do not gather any facial features, and we never access, capture, store, or process any form of facial or biometric data related to your face. Memori has no need for facial information to implement its core functions, and we have not integrated any features, code, or tools that would allow the app to access your device’s camera or capture facial information. Your facial appearance, facial characteristics, and any biometric data related to your face are never involved in any link of Memori’s operation.
4.3 To further emphasize: Memori does not collect facial information of any kind, including but not limited to photos of your face, facial recognition data, facial feature measurements, or any other data that can be used to identify or describe your facial characteristics. Even if you choose to use photos as personalized backgrounds in the app, those photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded or shared, and we do not extract or analyze any facial information from them.
4.4 Memori only requests the necessary permissions to ensure its normal operation, such as notification permissions (to send you reminders for important dates). We never request permissions related to camera access, because we do not collect any facial information or facial features, and there is no need to access the camera for any purpose.
All intellectual property rights related to Memori, including but not limited to the app’s code, interface design, logo, text, images, and functional algorithms, belong to us or our authorized parties. These intellectual property rights are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and regulations. You shall not use, copy, modify, distribute, or display any of these intellectual property rights without our prior written permission. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property rights may constitute an infringement, and we reserve the right to pursue your legal liability.
The data you input into Memori (such as important dates and reminders) belongs to you, and you have the right to use and manage this data. However, you shall not use this data to infringe on the intellectual property rights or other legitimate rights and interests of others.
6.1 You may terminate your use of Memori at any time by uninstalling the app from your iOS device. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data related to Memori stored on your device (unless you have backed up your device through iCloud, which is controlled by you and Apple’s related policies).
6.2 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your use of Memori if you violate any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, including but not limited to using the app for illegal purposes, tampering with the app’s code, or infringing on our intellectual property rights. In such cases, we shall not be liable for any losses caused to you.
